Pouncing Hiro: This is a photo of my cat, Hiro, with her mouse toy. Her favorite thing to play is fetch. The fancier it 'flies' the funner to catch.

Empty Hallway

Empty Hallway: This is a photo I took at my mom's school. I like this photo because it shows how photos don't always show the whole picture. Judging by this picture alone you would probably say that the scool is empty. But in reality the room right next to it olds about twenty kids and five adults getting ready for the kindergarten circus. Even behind the photo parents are bustling around getting ready for the show. That is why I like this photo.

Sleeping Jiji

Sleeping Jiji: This is a close up photo of my cat Jiji. I always liked close ups and this one is good. All you can see is Jiji and in this photo it concentrates on the nose and whiskers.

Kayak Sunset

Kayak Sunset: I took this photo up in apostle islands on my kayak trip. Our group had gone to the dock to watch the sunset and I was experimenting with angles and this is one of the photos I got. Angles itself can change how a photo is viewed and I thought giving this one an angle helped out the photo. I met a guy once who didn't like a drawing because the edge of the lake looked too crooked to be realistic. I made this photo to show people like that that it doesn't necessraily need to look realistic to be cool. This proved him wrong since I took a photo that made the lake look crooked.

Frozen Field

Frozen Field: This photo was taken up where I band hawks in fall. I usually go over in the morning time and the ground is usually frozen. I felt that this picture captered the dull colors of fall real well. Fall is usually known for it's colorful leaves but this one catches the frost in the morning and the dullnest of the sun in the morning. That is why I like this photo.

Praying Bea

Praying Bea: This is a photo of another sled dog at my camp. I like everything about this photo. I like the way that Bea's head is bent making her look like she is praying. In reality she was begging to be petted. I also love the kind of symmetry with this photo. I like where her food dish is and how it balances the chain on the other side.

Levi

Levi: This is a photo of a dogsledding dog named Levi. I have taken several photos trying to capture his eyes just right and this is what I got. It is exactly what I wanted in this photo.

Flying Sparrow

Flying Sparrow: I have always tried to capture motion in my photos and this one definetly captures just that. It is one of my best frozen moments photos.

Edited Pokewalkers

Original Pokewalker: This is my original photo of the pokewalker. I am practicing editing with my new program.

Colored Pokewalker: This one I focused on the pokewalker by making them colorful and everything else black and white. It has been my goal to do just this with one of my photos and now I have done it.

Blurred Black and White: This one I feel tells the history of pokemon itself. It began on a crappy gameboy with black and white with crappy graphics but kids still loved it. That is why I like this one. It appears that those pokewalkers were dragged out from the past and are having trouble existing.

Snowy Rock Egret

Snowy Rock Egret: This is something we just bought this summer. What I think is cool about this photo is how the egret appears in the middle of all this whiteness. In reality, it was by a lot of other small things, but those were covered in snow.

Woodpecker Wing

Woodpecker Wing: This is a photo of a woodpecker that was caught while we were banding hawks. It is a funny story of how we caught it. We were waiting for a hawk to fly by when we all see the woodpecker hopping around just outside of the blind. Then the woodpecker suddenly jumps into the net and they caught a woodpecker! I love the focus on this photo I got of the bird. It shows the hairy's spots really well, and is a great wing shot.

Do NOT Pull This!

Do NOT pull this!: This is a sign I took at the tea garden. I have always liked the looks of signs and how they turn out in photos. This one I love the color of the snow and the sky through the door. If I fixed anything I would make the actual sign a little less dark, but it isn't that bad!

Cardinal

Cardinal: This is a photo of a cardinal, female, I took that flew to the deck. I took it through a glass door which I think helped caused the blurry background. If I changed anything I would have the cardinal a little bit more in focus.

Owl Face

Owl Face: This is a photo of an owl I saw at a fair. I believe it is a short eared, but I still have to work on my owl identification. I love how the owl is looking up.

Hey Camera!

Hey Camera!: This photo was taken at Underwater World. I like almost everything except I would aim a little lower next time getting more of my friends head and less of the water above. Otherwise I like everything about it.

Cat Eye

Cat Eye: This is a close up photo of my cat Hiro. What I like about this photo and the cat are the eyes. Hiro has orange eyes and come out really pretty in photos.

The Rough Legged Hawk

The Rough Legged Hawk: I took this photo when I was banding hawks. I really like how it appears to have sepia, but doesn't in truth. Also it would not be as good of a photo if the posture of the hawk was any different.

Photo of a Rough-Legged Hawk: This is a photo I told my dad to take when I was holding the rough-legged hawk. I really like the angle and the positioning of the people. As to the reason why it is now my heading, it fits my title and I have always had an obessesiong for hawks.

Great Horned

Great Horned: This is a photo I took with my Nikon Coolpix when the raptor center visited my school. Great horned owls are really pretty birds, and I particularly liked how this photo turned out. Hope you enjoy!
